Sharing.....

I am UNIQUE because...
I prefer to be barefoot all year long.
I have to make a bigger mess... before I can start to clean.
I go through seasons of feeling very social and other times of just being a homebody.
I cry when butterflies emerge from their chrysalis.
I love creepy shows and movies... especially if they involve vampires and/or fairies.
I still truly BELIEVE in MAGIC..... I just call it MIRACLES now....

I am a good friend because...
I listen... and truly HEAR...
I love and pray for my friends...
When I make a commitment to someone, I stand by it.
I am always on time.
I support my friends and encourage them...even when I disagree.
I am loyal.
I tell the truth... even if it hurts sometimes.
When my friends are hurting, I hurt with them.

I am a bad friend because...
I can't go to them, they always have to come to me.
I can't always return the favor.

I am sad because...
I miss my doggy Ziggy.

I am BLESSED because...
I have a fantastic man, who loves me, supports me, and encourages me everyday.
My CHILDREN have the BEST FATHER EVER!
I have good friendships.. that have stood the test of time and the repetitive testing of my own insanity... and will be forever.
I am blessed in countless ways.
I enjoy simple pleasures...
I love my tiny apartment.
I love the weather right now.
I know there is a DIVINE purpose and plan for my life.. that exceeds my own plans.

I am excited for...
Christmas decorating, cooking, and sharing.
A New Year
Kids tearing through gifts Christmas morning.
Growing in my spirituality.
Getting healthier, physically and emotionally, every day.

I think this is a fun little game... to reflect... Do it on your blog and share the link here. Id love to read yours! Have a Blessed Monday.

Giving Thanks

Happy Autumn everyone!!!

This is my favorite time of year.... The weather finally cools enough here in Florida to actually get out and do stuff without being drenched in sweat and suffocating from the humidity. And there is always tons of great fairs, festivals, and open air markets to go to!!

I have been busy getting ready for a Fall Harvest Fair that I will be vending at later this month... Lots of Little Tweetie bird ornaments, wristlets, and other great stuff to give as Holiday gifts!

My new blogger friend Shannon over at Free Spirit Knits is celebrating the season with Thirty Days of Giving Thanks, and I have decided to participate!! So go check out her beautiful blog, and keep an eye out sometime this month for a chance to win one of my zippered wristlet clutches!!!

THE FOLLOWING IS TAKEN FROM FREE SPIRIT KNITS BLOG......

It's simple.

Take a moment each day in November and thank someone in your life.

Send a text, make a call, leave a post-it,
write an old fashioned letter...

Make eye contact.
Smile.
And say, "thanks."

It doesn't matter how you thank them. Simply think of someone in your life - each day - and tell them why you are thankful for them. Give them your thanks.

Thank thirty people in thirty days.

Can't think of thirty people?

Look more closely at the people you encounter in a day.

The postman.
The barista.
The nice man at the bank.
The woman who always stamps your parking ticket.
Your neighbor down the street.

Is there a local store owner who makes you feel welcome every time you shop?
Do you have a favorite sacker at the grocery store?
How about someone you work with that makes you laugh?
Is there a person from your past that you always wished you would have thanked?
Do you have a favorite hair stylist, or a massage therapist, or have you appreciated the listening ear of a good friend?
Did you ever thank your favorite teacher?
Has anyone helped change the course of your life?
What about someone you are really close to - like your kids or spouse - what thanks would you like to share with them?

If you choose to join us - let Shannon know! You can leave a comment on her blog, or email her at livefreely@mac.com.
